*Before Tuathia: Eos Sarai was born to Theia, a cremello mare who was known for her ambition to make a life for her children. Known for going after stallions with power, it was no wonder why she seduced the traveling king of a far-off land and bore the smutty palomino filly. The only “pale” child compared to her three older, darker-in-color siblings, she was often made fun of when she was young, cowering beside her mother like a golden shadow to escape the teasing.
As she got older, she endured the teasing, becoming a lovely mare and learning all about her father from her mother’s stories. She gained the respect of her eldest brother Titus, a handsome grullo who watched over his younger siblings with the protective gaze of a natural lead stallion, by standing up for herself against Memnon, her next oldest sibling and the cruelest out of the Theia brood. Memnon was the son of their lands’ king, his heir to their homeland, and as the years passed, his eye got turned to his lovely younger sister.
When their king passed away, Memnon, at the age of five, took the throne, and the homeland fell in disarray. His twisted and cruel mind fell onto his family, choosing the youngest to place his torture on. He pursued her, running her ragged and sometimes bloody, and when spring rolled around, managed to weaken her enough to try and rape her. Titus, hearing his sister’s weak cries, rushed to her aid, and she ran as the two stallions fought.
She ran long and hard until she reached Tuathia, and there she met Lysander in the coldest winter she had ever known.
*In Tuathia: In Tuathia, Eos met Lysander, a kind and noble stallion who was the king of his lands. Having known that her sire had been the king of a place called Tuathia, Eos thought that Lysander was related to her, but kept her mouth shut as he asked her to come home with him. That spring, she asked for a foal, and he obliged, spending the rest of the year looking for her siblings and growing larger with his offspring. Learning about the alpha stallion was a great adventure for the simple mare, growing quite close to him.
When it was the following spring, it was in the Meadows that she gave birth to Xanthos, her and Lysander’s first child and son.
