Namaah was born in Windriver Valley, miles from Tuathia and its borderlands. At the time of her conception and birth, her father was the black king of the darks and the breeding of her mother, Emmaline, had not been all too consensual. Emmaline was the prized daughter of Arabesque, the neutral king, and already betrothed to another man - a kinder man. Namaah had an older daughter by Emmaline and her kind stallion, Daisy Mae. Daisy lived the life of love and luxury, swaddled and spoiled by her unified parents.
Emmaline gave birth to her, and her father came. Namaah never even touched her mother once free of the womb, her sire took her away, named her, and had her fed by another mare, and raised her until she was weaned, then left. After then, Namaah was left to mature alone with nothing but her conscience for company. Days after Namaah was weaned off another mare, she learned that her mother had died of a sickness in her heart - some called it heartbreak.
