He had traveled from distant lands, banished from his home by a tyrant that took everything he had. His herd had not even fought for him, so what was the point. He was free from obligation now, free to roam and live the way he wanted to live. He had resented his father for his choice to make him King. He was not leader material, he wanted to be free to make mistakes and learn from them without huge consequences. He was free to be...himself.
He made his way to a new land, in search of fun and excitement. He wanted to make huge mistakes, he wanted to fall in and out of love with mares. He was ready to be a heart breaker and the truth of his name, a Troubadour.
His mother had named him Troubadour. For what reason, he had no clue. Perhaps she thought it sounded good or something. Whatever reason she had, she gave him a purpose in his life with his name. He could care less about his past life, his new life was here. Time to break some hearts with his good looks and coltish-charms.
He galloped through the glade, his mind and heart full of joy. He was free now, free from everything that had ever held him down. He was free to make his own choices and free to live his life. Troubadour could have asked for nothing less.

The pounding of hooves was not mistakeable to the tall auds of the palomino stallion. He ws standing in the shadows of the large tree. Its limbs twisting up above him to great a darkness in the area. No light touched his beautiful pale coat as he stood there waiting. Waiting for someone to draw closer to his unmoving form so that he may lay claim to him. Dusty wasn't past forcing someone into his herd, but he figured giving them a choice would make them happier.
Spieing the cause of the noise, he let his lengthy legs carry his thick bulk over the small space between them. He closed in quickly and held a small smile on his kissers. Tossing white hair back from his eyes he cleared his throat. "Greetings, I am Dusty Wayne, but you may call me Dusty. I am Neutral Gamma, and reside alone in Cliath Inlet." Did that make him sound lame? Tossing the thought from his head he continued. "I've recently acquired the lands, and hope to fill my ranks." His vocie held the proud under tone, but who wouldn't be proud of themselves for not only gaining a land, but a title with it? "I offer you a home within it."

His approach had triggered some strange stag hiding under a tree. The brute stood there as if he did not wanted a dash of sun harming his gold pelt. A stag with no self respect as a stag, was the only thing that crossed Troubadour's mind. The buckskin mutt looked over at the stag as he spoke. Dusty Wayne, ah but he had a nickname, Dusty. It was cleverly said and put. Neutral Gamma, so this brute had rank and was willing to push it around to get what he wanted. It made Troubadour laugh, internally and externally. The buckskin tossed his crown, his tresses falling over one eye, as he looked forward to the stag.
"Offering me a home.....cleverly put. But the way you came prancing out of your shadowy corner and announcing who you were, was almost like you were tooting your own horn there, my friend. I am not one caught by a flashy presence, or a title. I am interested in something far more.....looser.. than that. I am Troubadour, the traveling Stallion from Hearth. My own herd turned against me and threw me out, so I am not one for Herdlings or status. But, if you have some cute mares and fillies, we might be able to negotiate." Troubadour's swaggering words flowed out like honey. He was cynical and not nice, but he was Neutral and could care less what happened to anyone around him. He was all about having fun and doing what he did best, tempt mares into breeding and then breaking hearts. He wanted his children scattered all over and his blood to be ever lasting. He tossed his tresses from his eyes and looked at the stag.
"So, what arrangement could you offer me that would make joining your little movement of Herdlings worth my while?" Simple question, and he knew the stag would make some extravagant movement to try and sway him. Let him, it meant more amusement to Troubadour.
