| I sucked in a huge breath of the clean ocean air. So, so, so, so much better then the stench of the air on Blade's Edge. This time I held my breath passing the Bay, or well, I tried too. Tossing my head I galloped the length of the beach, loving the feeling of throwing sand from my hooves and the feeling of the ocean breeze lipping at my mane. I probably could have continued running around there for hours and hours, but the waves began to call to me like a mother calls to her foal. A smile took over my face as I leaped into the water. Just a few paces in and the water already reached my stomach, the salt water brushing against it felt nice, but since I was so small, I had to be very careful of the big waves that occassionally came rolling in. My gray lids grew heavier and heavier as the water lapped at my legs and stomach, my mind was set on staying awake and that was all, I forgot about the ocean completely. Then, a huge wave white with sea foam crashed over my small frame, knocking me completely off my feet and sending me tumbling. I struggled against the water, and finally broke through the surface, my green eyes opened wide with worry and a pitiful hoarse sounding whinny escaped my maw before the current drug me back under. -complete- OOC-Yeah, she's not insanely far out but she's deep enough that the water was on her stomach before she got knocked over.<3 "Speech..."

Another lazy day spent along the lulling shoreline, it's sandy white earth calling me to come back for a visit. The breeze tugging at my mane and tail, teasing it to follow its lead. I've come to find myself frequenting the tiny ivory island more and more as the temperatures began to rise. This place brought a sense of peace to my already quiet life. The sand, sun, water, and wind relaxed me as I closed my eyes, slowly drifting off into a nice little nap. The tall grasses dancing about my slender legs had kept me the slightest bit aware of my surroundings, just in case someone were to come up uninvited to stir things up.
Time sure does pass when you're having fun, or snoozing the day away. I didn't realize how long I was on the little island for until a flock of sea gulls flew above my head calling to one another. Eyelids reluctantly flickered open as a yawn escaped my ebony colored muzzle. What a lazy day this has turned out to be indeed. Deciding that it was finally time to return to shore my trek across the sand bridge would not be happening. High tide has taken it away from me, so it looks like if I wanted to leave it would be through the water and swimming my way back. Sighing I made my way to the side of the island that was closest to the main shore.
Looking out to the rolling surf a muffled cry reached my ears as a gust of sea breeze tossed my forelock away from my mocha colored eyes. Someone was caught amidst the rocking of the tide, just great. Noticing that there were no others along the main shore that would be able to help another sigh escaped my mug. Whoever it was, they were lucky that I was in a rather good mood this day or else I would let Mother Nature do what she wished with the foolish one who ventured to far during the incoming tide. Seeing the form of the distressed equine I jumped into the water and swam to the rescue. My frame a tad larger than the mares I was easily able to fend off the tumbling tide and keep her head above water until we both were close enough to the shore to gain secure footing. My voice its usual calmness. "Are you alright?"
Complete ~ Okies ^_^
