Oh dear, where have I wound up now? Witchly looking trees stand tall and scraggly over barren earth. I wonder, was this place ever very pretty? I hope not. Lands with too much good memories make them... unsuitable in my opinion. I like to hear of torture and death. Sometimes I wonder why the devil ever created such a creature as myself. Maybe I am his messenger, or maybe.. his warrior. Possibly both? If only you could see the way I do. I can see the colors and the invisible creatures. My color is a deep black. One that sucks in everything in it's path, holding onto me with it's spidery fingers. I once used to have a very happy color until I tried that yummy looking mushroom. Then I grew wings and was swallowed by hell.
Do you believe me? Sometimes I do. A soft breeze tosses my mane around, entangling it even more than it was before. I stop near a skinny and leafless tree, my hide brushing agianst its rough bark. Yumm, doesn't tearing flesh feel wonderful? Though it only scratched a small spot I was left tingling in the moment. A soft sigh passed through my parted kissers and I stepped away from my torturer. My old herd used to find me a bit... off the rocker if you catch my drift. I still don't quite understand why though. My thick neck lifts my cranium to the moonlit sky. My delicate nostrils taking in the smell of flesh. I could see the mingling colors of soul inhabited horses. They were on the other side of the clearing, the side I rather not step into. Too much life on that side.
I turn my attention to the side where the trees grow thicker, causing access through them harder. A small fish danced in mid air, taunting me toward the darker part. Of course I know it was merely a hallucination, but it is such a cute little fish. So of course, My hooves lift and fall, bringing me the direction of the dancing goldfish. He leapt and spun as if doing ballet. I followed until I lost all track of where I even was. For a moment I glanced away to find anything familiar, but as I turned my head back, the magical fish was gone. Oh shit. Black dish dropped inches, my hair covering my eyes as I snorted in irritation. Great, I let a fish get me lost in a forest.
How many times has this happened to me? Lets see... the bunny... the dinosaur... oh and the flower....four. Yep. Eyes drift to the nearest tree and I force the sweetest smile I could over my velvets. (Which isn't too pretty, I always have a evil look like I'm up to something). "Oh mister tree, I know you don't want to break character and all but... Tell me where I am! or...or... Die!" I tap my hoof three times before lurching forward. My head rammed the unmoved trunk. Nice one. Shaking my cranium I merely turn from the beast and try to find a color, of anything that would lead me out.
