He'd been scouting the entire time, while his mother and he had been walking. Every waterfall they passed he'd remembered, measured, searched for the right size, the perfect height. He was determined to find the perfect location, the ultimate thrill. He knew his mother wouldn't be to pleased, but then again, there was no need for her to worry to much, right? It was just a leap of faith from the top of a roaring, raging waterfall. There was no harm, no foul. Just a simple bound of the top, the thrill of the fall, before he'd submerge in the water, return to the surface and swim to the shore. He'd done it so many times now, that the length of time that he could hold his breath was an insane amount. He smirked slowly as he waited for his mother to lay down in the meadow she'd chosen next to the river. Her limbs folded beneath her, her delicate chestnut form glistening in the light of the sun. Her eyes closed, as she allowed herself a brief rest before looking up at her 9 month old son. "Rest, sweetheart . . . we've been walking since sun up."
Ciro grumbled, and pouted, "But mother, I'm bored . . . Please, can I go play." Chaste looked at him skeptically, "Can I please go explore? please! I'll stay close, so you can constantly see me!" He nearly begged. Finally, Chaste sighed, and nodded, watching his chocolate toned face light up. "Thank you sooo much! I'll be careful! I promise." She heard the almost sly tone in his voice, but only sighed. He was so much like his father, and like his father, she'd decided to stop question his sly tones long ago.
She watched him bound off, following him as he found his way up to the top of the near by waterfall, and looked off of it, looking around, "Be careful, Ciro!" She called, and watched as her son simply smiled at her. She watched as he took a few steps back, and deemed him to be behaving, as she allowed her head to rest in the grass again, that is before he suddenly ran straight towards the edge of the waterfall, leaping from it. Instantly Chaste was on her feet, her eyes wide, before she cantered towards the swell of water at the base of the waterfall, as Ciro created a huge splash from his jump. Her eyes were wide, even as he resurfaced, and began to swim towards her, "CIRO!" She ran straight into the water, tugging him into her, even as she glared at him, her muzzle against his side as she pressed him into her chest, "Don't you ever do that again! You could have killed yourself!" She shrieked.
Ciro rolled his eyes, slipping out of her grasp and trotting towards grassy plain and laying down in the warmth of the sunlight, "Ah mom, I'm fine! I've jumped off far worse! Father always said it was fine! And I never got hurt before. There's no need to worry!" Chaste sighed, rolling her eyes before moving towards him, and laying down beside him, rubbing her muzzle against his wet coat, trying to dry him, her green eyes narrowed, "If you ever do that again, you'll not be allowed to leave my side for a month. Your father is no longer here; and he shouldn't have let you get away with that in the beginning. Don't you dare do it again. You hear me?" She said sternly. Ciro sighed, not looking at her, "Fine, mother, i'll be careful, and I won't do it again . . ." He said as he smirked, watching the grass sway. And he wouldn't do it . . . at least . . .
Not while you're watching, mother.

The perlino stag had been out scouting the lands. He was looking for some mares or stallions that might need a home. He needed to fill his land up. It was getting lonely. He wanted company in his lovely home. Someone to keep him company. He ventured out not knowing what he would find. It had only been a few months since he had came here and he already had claimed land and was now looking for mares and stallions to fill it. His mother would be proud. Knight traveled at a nice even lope. The breeze that danced through the air played with his tresses and skittered over his pelt. It felt good to him. It was unusual for summer to have a breeze like that. It was hot, but not a sticky hot. It was a good day to be out and about.
Knight traveled down to the Gelith River, were he was hoping to take a cool swim and then strike back out on his search. But his lobes caught a shriek. The stallion turned his course and came across a waterfall area, just in time to see a foal come out of the water, being scolded by his mother. It was a cute scene, but at the same time Knight had to wonder. What had led to the foal being wet. Had he slipped in, or was it something else. He turned his lobes towards the pair, listening intently, trying to hear what the mare was saying to her foal. He caught bits and pieces. All in all, the pieces came together to explain to him that the foal was in trouble for doing something he should have not been doing. Knight chuckled low, that was most foals. Even he himself was guilty. The mare laid in the grass near her foal, scolding him still. Knight waited and watched for the pair to become quiet. When he felt the tension between mother and child calm itself, he walked out to them. His creamy tresses dancing with the breezes that toyed with them and the sun bouncing off his perlino pelt. He walked over, not getting to close and looked at the mare and foal.
"Greetings. I am Knight of Kylong Valley. Welcome to this wonderful land. May I have your names?" Knight asked his voice noble and strong. He was a gentleman through and through. He watched and waited to see what they would do. He had kept his distance, only being about thirty feet from the mare. His green eyes watched them both, waiting for their greeting in return.

Ciro couldn't help but grumble, his gaze on the ground, refusing to look at his mother. He couldn't understand why she was so upset. He'd jumped off much higher waterfalls. And he'd never ever gotten hurt before. In fact, he'd only been made stronger. His lungs were strong, his ability to hold his breath long. He was growing up powerful, in his own way. But then again, that was another thing that worried his mother, the part where he has to grow up. Though, Ciro knew that it worried him, more than it worried his mother. His mother might think she was strong, powerful, but . . . she still came from humans, she was raised by humans. She'd only just recently joined this wild herd. Ciro had grew up in it, his father had shown him the ropes. He knew the life, he knew the role. His mother was still learning it all.
Which was why Ciro's head snapped up and glared the moment he'd seen the stallion step into the area. Feeling her son shift, Chaste opened her eyes, expression surprised as the perlino stallion moved into view, walking towards them. Ciro stood quickly, protectively putting himself in front of his mother, who only rolled her green eyes at the actions, slowly rising as well, flicking her tail and glanced at her young son, and then at stallion. Greetings. I am Knight of Kylong Valley. Welcome to this wonderful land. May I have your names? Instantly it was Ciro who responded, his green gaze narrowed, and his ears pinned back, standing tall and strong, despite only being nine months old, "What's it to you."
Chaste nipped her son, giving him a sharp look before looking apologetically at the stallion, "I apologize, My son is not to trusting of strangers." She said quietly, giving one more stern look towards the young colt. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Knight. My name is Chasterial, but I prefer Chaste - it's less of a mouthful, really. Ciro, here, is my son." She nudged Ciro once, before the colt snorted, and grumbled out, "Yeah, yeah. Nice to meet you." When his mother nipped him again, Ciro managed to growl out a sir that sounded more like a taunt then a term of respect. "Please, don't take offense from my son . . ." She said quickly, not wanting Ciro to anger a stallion. With her son being as young as he was, and her fresh out of the paddock, she knew that any sudden attack from a stallion wouldn't be well defended by either of them, "He means no disrespect. His father was the only one who could control him, and obviously isn't to much of a good role model. He's just . . . a bit rough around the edges." She said quietly, her words quick, as she tried to explain her son's behavior. Although, she knew she couldn't explain all of it. She wasn't sure where half his behavior came from. All she knew was that Ciro had some issues dealing with taking orders, and acting like a foal. If anything, he was years ahead of his time.
Chaste suddenly remembered the stallion's previous words, about a land, "Excuse me sir, I apologize if I come off as inept, but you say you role over a land? Does that mean . . . this place my son and I have stumbled upon is a real nation? We've been wandering for so long, I never thought we'd even stumble into another horse, really." If this was a nation, with horses; then perhaps they'd finally found their way to a place where they could stop wandering. Hopefully. because she was honestly beginning to get tired of constantly walking. And the idea of finally being in a place where she and her son, hopefully, could find a home . . . it was enough to make her extremely relieved.

He smiled at the boy's comment. When the mother began to explain who they were and not to take offense to the colt, Knight smiled again. He had not taken any offense to the colt, he was just protecting his mother. He had been the same way around other stallions when it had come to his mother. He held no anger towards the colt for his actions.
"Its fine, Chaste. He is only defending his mother. I hold no offense to what he said. I was like that at his age." Knight said, with a chuckle in his voice. The perlino stallion looked at the colt and winked. He didn't want the colt to think he was a bad stag. He was very kind hearted and wanted the colt to know that he was not going to hurt him or his mother. When she asked about the nation, Knight nodded.
"Yes, this is a true national area. There are three kings, the Light King Lysander, the Neutral King Night Hawk, and the dark King Akhenaton. They rule over different areas. Kylong Valley, where I am lead, is ruled over by King Lysander. And you are tired of wandering, I can give you a home. Right now, only me and Waltz live there. Waltz is a blind filly I am caring for." He said. He hoped she would take him up on his offer. His lands were a bit empty and Waltz could use a female friend to teach her. He watched the colt for his reaction to his proposal.

Ciro was taken aback by the stallion's smile, his eyes narrowing slightly. A smile was not what he was hoping for. Quite the opposite in fact. Why the hell would he be smiling. Ciro had practically snarled at him. Ciro huffed, even as his mother tried to apologize for him. He wanted the stallion to take offense, why the hell wouldn't he. Ciro was even more annoyed with the stallion smiled, at his mother's own words. Its fine, Chaste. Ciro's ears pinned at the use of his mother's nickname. Only father should be allowed to use it. Only father knew her. He is only defending his mother. I hold no offense to what he said. I was like that at his age. Chaste smiled, relieved, even as she giggled slightly in response to his own chuckle, watching the stallion look at the colt, and wink. Ciro rolled his eyes, snorting and just leaning against his mother. He watched the stallion, snorting. "Well, I'm glad then. Ciro means no harm, but his words . . . tend to upset others. I just wish he'd learn to control it before he winds up in some serious trouble." The chestnut mare said, nuzzling her son gently. Ciro snorted softly, "I'm not gonna get in trouble momma." He snorted.
Yes this is a true national area. There are three kings, the Light King Lysander, the Neutral King Night Hawk, and the dark King Akhenaton. They rule over different areas. Kylong Valley, where I lead, is ruled over by King Lysander. Chaste nodded slightly, ears perked and listening to him as he explained. Ciro, on the other hand was acting board, snorting slightly. Of course, he went still at Knight's next words, And you are tired of wandering, I can give you a home. Right now, only me and Waltz live there. Waltz is a blind filly I am caring for. Instantly Ciro snorted, stepping in front of his mother, "Mother and I are perfectly fine on our own. Father will come fetch us. He said he would. We ought to wait for him." Chaste nipped her son, her gaze disapproving. "Ciro, enough." Ciro grumbled, even as he slunk closer to her side, hanging his head. "We'd be grateful to accept your offer. I fear that despite my son's protests, we're not much good on our own . . . I haven't been in the wild long enough to know how to properly defend myself." Her ears were perked however at the thought of the blind filly - her thoughts moving to another blind filly who meant the world to her. She'd have given anything to have been able to take Luci with her when she escaped from the humans. But she hadn't been able to find the child before she and Ciro had to run away, or risk being caught.
"If you would like some help, as well, with the poor dear, I'd be happy to take her under my wing. My dear Lucianne, was blind, so I'm familiar with how to raise blind foals." She offered, a smile on her face at the mention of the one of the two only other foals in the world who she'd call her own, despite having no claim to them except that of an adopted foal. She turned her gaze back to Ciro, before adding, "And Ciro could probably benefit from having another foal around . . . I fear he'll grow up as a lone, old prat otherwise." Even as she said it, she nuzzled her son, to show she was only teasing about the old prat part, before looking at him with a certain look. Ciro grumbled, before looking at the stallion, "I'm sorry for my rudeness." He muttered quietly, before glaring at the ground when his mother nodded her approval.

The colt was rough around the edges and seem to have daddy issues. Knight knew the boy just needed time to adjust to the fact that his father was more than likely not coming back. It was sad, really. A father that has that much influence of a foal should never just leave them. It creates an emptiness that is hard to fill. Knight shook her pearl crown and looked at the mare. He listened intently when she spoke of accepting his offer. He was glad, he could used the company and where she could help out with Waltz, he could add his aid in getting Ciro to see that perhaps his father was not coming back and he had an option for a friend. Himself. Knight would never try to replace his father, but instead try and become more of his friend. It seemed that the colt needed that more than a stern hoof trying to be what he could not be, a fatherly figure. Knight was more about giving than taking. He smiled to the boy apologized for his rudeness. It brought a warmth to Knight, perhaps he now knew just what the colt needed.
"I would be delighted to show you both to Kylong Valley. It is a wonderful place to be. Perhaps, young Ciro, you and I could....patrol the area. Looking for some fun, and even some watery spots to have fun in. I had this thing when I was a foal that used to scare the pelt of my mother. I used to jump into deep pools of water. Something of an adrenaline rush I used to like. Still do from time to time." Though, in truth the stallion had no clue what had happened before he had arrived, he figured sharing his likes and dislikes with the kid would show him he, too, was still a kid at heart. He wanted to show him that he was no trying to be pushy, but kind and inviting. For it was truly Knight's way.
"Well, if you two will just come with me, we will make our way to Kylong Valley, unless you need time to rest? He said, kindly. He did not wanna push the mare, who sounded like she had spent some time in captivity, rather than being born free like he had. In his father's herd, he had met ones that had been captive at one time. More often than not, they were mares and mares were a delicate creature that needed to be guarded and protected, not pushed to the point of pain and exhaustion. He waited for her answer and watched the colt's reaction to all this as well.

It was hardly Ciro's fault that he was the way he was. Simply a rough set of time, especially with all the prominent male figures in his life just up and . . . well leaving. And so, he'd learned that it was just he and his mother. But then; he had found himself with a father; a real father. One who liked having him around, taught him so much, and it didn't take long for Ciro to change the resentment towards the stallion into admiring love. But then, like everyone else, his father left. And he refused to believe the hard reality that he'd never return. It simply . . . was not an option. Just like joining this stupid stallion was no an option - not to Ciro. He didn't care how nice he seemed to be; he knew better than to trust another stallion. All they ever did was let him, and his mother down. But it didn't stop him from obeying his mother, and apologizing, though he narrowed his eyes and turned his gaze away from Knight when he smiled, refusing to acknowledge it.
I would be delighted to show you both to Kylong Valley. It is a wonderful place to be. Perhaps, young Ciro, you and I could . . . patron the area. Looking for some fun, Ciro snorted, doubting the stallion even knew what he'd consider fun. and even some watery spots to have fun in. I had this thin when I was a foal that used to scare the pelt off my mother. I used to jump into deep pools of water. Something of an adrenaline rush I used to like. Still do from time to time. Ciro snorted with out response. Jumping into the 'deep end' like that was anything to his waterfall dives. He'd much rather jump of the waterfall again. Now that was a real adrenaline rush. His mother however was the one to speak first, "That sounds like a wonderful idea, Knight. I'm sure Ciro would be more than happy to join you on both occasions; but only after assuring me that you'll keep a close eye on him . . ."
There was a pause, before she gently nipped her son's shoulder, "But, do keep him away from waterfalls, or you'll have way to much of an adrenaline rush at one time." She cautioned, her tone wizened with experience to her son's antics. Ciro snorted instantly, his gaze hard and cold on the ground beneath his feet, "Father never had issues with my ideas of fun. He'd do it with me. I see no reason why I can't do what I want. I'm a prince!" Chaste's gaze darkened slightly, "Do not take that tone with me, Ciro. And you were a prince. You are no longer in your father's lands. The herd is no longer together. That makes us loners, child, which is why we're agreeing to join Knight. So behave, or you'll not be allowed to leave my side for a week." The colt shut up, but not before snorting and stomping the ground with one hoof, his gaze harsh, clearly growing more and more upset. Chaste looked back up at Knight, her gaze both gentle and apologetic, "Again, I am so sorry Knight. He's not usually so misbehaved."
Well, if you two will just come with me, we will make our way to Kylong Valley, unless you need time to rest? The mare gently shook her head, where as her son ignored the words completely; "No, that's alright; I think both Ciro and I are prepared for the journey." She responded, trotting a few steps closer to Knight before turning a gaze to Ciro who still stood in place, "Come, Ciro." She instructed, keeping her gaze on him just long enough to see him sigh and move forward. Ciro, obviously, still wasn't close to being sold on the idea; but he'd never intentionally upset his mother.

Knight was trying to hold back a parenting tongue. The boy was rather rude and really trying to invoke some kind of anger in Knight. Yet, Knight was not that kind of stallion. A sharp word to a child and you can set them right. Only if they already respect you. Knight knew this colt was not going to hand over his respect, he would have to earn it. He had no problem earning it, that was fine by him. The colt needed time to realize his daddy was not coming back and that him and his mother stood a better chance apart of a herd, as compared to being alone. Knight led the way, his perlino pelt shimmering when the sun hit it. He was hot and worn out. He had been around all day, looking for anyone that might need a home. It was time to head back to Waltz now, before she got too worried.
The mare spoke in apology again for the young colt's behavior. Again, Knight smiled to her.
"No need to apologize. The young one is just looking out for you. True mark of a good son." Knight said. He knew the colt was doing it to push Knight away, but his mother was committed and he had to accepted that. Knight led the way, picking the smoothest terrain towards home he could. Not just for her benefit, but for his own. He was in need of rest. He was still tired from all the running he had done that day, marking out his area. Now, it was a slow journey home, with two new members in tow.
"Please, Chaste, tell me more about yourself. I would love to hear about where you two came from? I myself came from lands far from here. A place called Moragan Valley. Home of the stallion Hobgoblin." Knight said, not knowing is she had heard anything in her travels. Perhaps she had, perhaps she had not. It was always interesting to hear about others tales. He looked back over his should to her and her foal. The colt did not look happy, but he knew in time the young one would accept things as they were. Hopefully.

Ciro hadn't always been so misbehaved, back when Aderon had been helping her care for the foal, he did reasonably well with having Ciro behaving correctly; was exceptional at it even. But then he had found a mare of his own; who his own master was breaking; and she began to see less and less of him. First it had been Flint, who'd broken her heart and left. Then Ad had left; and between the two of them, Ciro got it in his head that it was just he and his mother. And then; Ignazio came back into their lives, very much an accident; back after a wild stallion had gotten into her fenced meadow and raped her. In the midst of the after math, the two had managed to realize that Ciro hadn't exactly been an accident; and that they both truly did love each other. So once she had healed enough from the attack, Ciro a few months old at this point, she convinced her son to follow her out of the domestic life and into the wild. It didn't take long for him to agree, as he was already going out during the weekends with his rediscovered father. The longer they had stayed with Ignazio, the more and more Ciro grew to adore him, but when the humans had attacked; and they were forced to flee, Chaste knew in her heart it was the last time they'd see Ignazio; unfortunately, Ciro still refused to believe that. Through all the heartbreak he'd suffered, Chaste did worry that she might not be enough to keep him from turning dark. His heart was already so cold, it just didn't see fair. He was so young and yet had been through so much. Though, she hoped that now that they were part of a light herd, all the positivity would help lead the colt back down the right track.
Though, he still was refusing to behave; as was evident in the way the mare felt the need to apologize once again, though she looked relieve when the stallion smiled, No need to apologize. The young one is just looking out for you. True mark of a good son. Instantly, the colt's ears perked slightly, his eyes narrowed still, as he looked up slightly at the stallion, before he huffed air out of his nares, and looked back at the ground; though it was clear that he'd been surprised by the praise of being called a good son. Chaste smiled in thanks, "Hopefully, with a solid home once again, he'll start being a wonderful colt for everyone again, too." She stated, her tone both light as well as gentle, showing that even with his behavior as outrageous as it was now, to she; her colt was a wonderful colt to her. Even if he did misbehave every once in a while. She glanced up at the stallion, following him through the smooth terrain, Ciro following a tad slowly, but staying close to his mother regardless, shuffling his hooves every once in a while to make a rock skitter across the location, causing the slightest of amused expressions on his face. Though the colt looked up again when the stallion spoke.
Please, Chaste, tell me more about yourself. I would love to hear about where you two came from? I myself came from lands far from here. A place called Moragan Valley. Home of the stallion Hobgloblin. Ciro was the first to speak up, his face contorted into an expression of confusion, "Who'd name their kid Hobgoblin?" He muttered, his expression causing his mother to laugh lightly and shake her head before she responded to Knight's question. "My son and I come from a land far to the west, called Oblivious by we equine. It was a land where humans and horses both lived, the edges of their boarders over crossing just slightly. My human, a wonderful girl; was always giving us treats, treating us well, though her uncle wasn't as kind. Patience never allowed him to touch us, because of that reason. Ignazio, Ciro's father; and I had a falling out shortly after Ciro was born, but after an incident back home, when a wild stallion had gotten into my corral; we reconnected, he taking care of me. And it was after I'd healed enough that he convinced Ciro to come live with him full time, during those days Ciro spent the weekends with him, and invited me to come live where it was safe; with him. I agreed, and so we followed him into the wild." Instantly Ciro spoke up, "He didn't make momma queen though, or nothin. He was afraid, because that position was up for those who wanted to fight for it, that momma would get hurt. He refused to let anyone lay a hoof on her, so she became . .. his . . . mistress, or something like that. They were obviously together, but just not queen and king together." He explained, before snorting lightly, "But then the humans attacked our herd, and we had to escaped. Father said he'd meet up with us later, once he made sure every one else was okay." Chaste nodded, her gaze soft on her son, "But that was months ago."
She glanced back at the stallion, "If you wish to learn anything else, feel free to just ask." She said gently; a slight smile on her face, as Ciro moved a tad closer, walking at her side, rather than straggling behind, nipping at the occasional flowers they passed.

Knight listened to her story. She seemed to have had a rough life, and needed a steady place to live herself. Knight kept walking, listening to her and Ciro. The boy seemed to be disappointed in his father for not making his mother Queen. Then again, a stallion shows his strength when he protects the ones he cares about. Ciro's personality began to unravel before him. The boy was a bit spoiled, but he had been treated as a Prince. Also, his distrust in stallions, his father abandoning him and his mother was taking its toll. He could hear the upset tone in the Colt's voice, the colt was not going to trust easily and Knight did not blame him.
After Chaste and Ciro got done explaining about their situation and their past, Knight stopped and turned back to the mare and her colt.
"You two have had it rough and I can promise you that will end as soon as your hooves touch Kylong valley soil. I will protect you and care for you. Both of you, if you let me." He was only asking to be their protector, not take her lover' place, or the Colt's father's place. He just wanted them to know they were safe here with him.

Chaste was silently relieved by the stallion's willingness to listen to her story; and the story of her son. Though, the majority of it consisted for the life time of her young colt, and surrounded his now long-missing father. A soft, hint of a snort left the colt in question, as his father was discussed, once more staring out the ground, and occasionally snapping his hoof down on the ground, dragging slight furls in the soft soil. Chaste sighed, looking down at Ciro, before returning her gaze to Knight, her gaze both sad for her son, but determined to do what was right to keep his future bright, "I'm sure it's not hard to tell that Ignazio's . . . for lack of a better term, disapperance has left us . . . at odds with this world. I'm far from being capable of protecting myself, and my son." She smiled slightly, "As my son would say, I'm a bit of a pacifist as it is." Ciro snorted, rather loudly, instantly speaking out, "Mother's just simply too nice to want to hurt someone! She has issues with hurting anyone; though Father once told me she faced a large stallion to keep an old friend of hers out of trouble . . ." An amused smile crossed her face, as she shrugged, "All in all, I'm really not that good with violent situations, which hardly makes Ciro and I being alone, to be a good idea." She stated, clearing up her son's words, watching Ciro snort and shake his head roughly, only to meekily smile as she nudged him to get him to behave.
Sure Ciro had his issues, he wasn't the most well behaved colt, and he had some dangerous ideas for fun. There were alot of issues, really; surrounding Ciro, and how he'd been raised. With his father as his role model, she'd seen the subtle changes, Ciro going from a perfect gentleman to more of a jerk, or rough neck. Through what she could only imagine to be Ignazio's teachings, her son was even beginning to show signs of being a womanizer in the future. She'd seen how he'd behaved with fillies. He was spoiled, he saw himself as spoiled, he even though himself to be a bit wild. more so then his mother that was. Which was one of the reasons she figured they couldn't go wrong with Knight. So far he was as much of a gentleman as her dear Aderon had been, one of her truly wonderful best friends.
She stopped, lowering her head towards Ciro so he stopped at her side, before she met Knight's gaze calmly, You two have had it rough and I can promise you that will end as soon as your hooves touch Kylong Valley soil. I will protect you and care for you. Both of you, if you let me. Chaste smiled, even as Ciro snorted and stood tall, stepping towards the stallion, his chest puffed out, "But I'm Nine Months OLD! I can take care of myself!" With a large nod, before giving a slight squeal when Chaste grabbed his tail and tugged him back towards, causing his 'big, bad' stance to crumble. "Mother!!!! I'm trying to look MIGHTY here! Moooommmm!!!!!" Chaste rolled her eyes, looking up at Knight, with a very slight, almost smirking smile, "I'd say he's already showing signs of being all big, and bad. But Ciro forgets he's still a baby." She stated, figuring this display didn't need an apology, as her son was clearly attempting to make it clear he thought he didn't need caring for, rather then simply denying to go with Knight. At least he was beginning to warm up on that idea.
"I think we'd both be rather grateful for the protection, to be honest. Although, you'll find out easily that once my son and I are set in a new location, we learn how to care for ourselves rather easily. It's one of the few perks of having been owned by humans prior to being a wild equine. But, regardless. I speak for both of us when I say I'd be grateful for the help, and the home. Especially considering my son could use a stallion to keep him out of trouble." Her smile brightened, as she winked at Knight, "In case you haven't noticed, he's a bit of a trouble maker and a wild card." Ciro snorted, glancing at the ground, as he muttered, "Nuh-uh. I just like having fun!"
