» DIONYSUS
How long had it been since he had seen daylight? Since he had walked the earth tracked by so many others. Dionysus, the soul who once felt purpose and desire, had awoken from his deep slumber to walk the world of the living once again. There had been a wave of absence in his lifetime being within the valley and after everything had turned sour he turned tail and disappeared again. However, he knew he could never stay away for long and he pushed past his warning thoughts to search for the long lost love that never seemed to return for long. She desired a child and a child is what he gave her after time and time of trying. Luca had moved on from his sights and whether he was alive or dead was beyond his knowledge now. Dionysus proved to be no better as a father than he was a lover but as much as he blamed himself, he blamed her more. She had left him to suffer with the day in and day out reminder that he had loved her and gave her everything that he could. A home, a child…everything. And now he was as empty as when he arrived. The prince had stepped down off of his high horse and gave it all away in order to search for her; and come up empty handed.
There was hope regardless of the constant memories that flooded his troubled mind and he no longer upheld the title of ‘dark’ but turned himself over to the side that didn’t bother with alignment. He wasn’t what the darks needed, they wanted cruel and ruthless whilst he was far to calm, collected and soft for such a title. His home was now devoured by another hungry source and he was fine with that, content with the outcome of how everything was beginning to change. He could start over, turn his life around and try to forget what once was and what could have been.
And here he stood, amongst the empty void he called his new home, the land was vacant for what seemed like years, faint smells that lingered passed with the light breeze that tugged at his dark tresses. His breath caught for a single moment as he let the feeling sink into his stocky form; Alpha. The honor felt so foreign to him now, each day lived out without so much as a second thought on responsibility and now he lingered under sudden power , providing his help when desired.. Dionysus was at their disposal now without complaint and he would do his job to revive the land and neutral alignment. Regardless he was here now and the chances of leaving without so much as a second thought again, was very limited in his mind. Dionysus wasn’t much of the charming prince he once was, in fact he had strayed away from luring his star-struck victims away to his old harem and he no longer desired the company of others; love or otherwise.
Dionysus was an empty void now, walking the earth to regain what he had lost for years of living. His mother. His son. her. "Oh -- if only you could see it. See me.." the thoughts were constantly reminding him that there was proof that he was living, breathing; alive. He sighed heavily and ignored the pain in his chest as he walked the boarders of the valley. He wanted his mother beside him, to have watched him grow into what he was now and perhaps his son wouldn't have ventured off into the darkness. Those icy blue eyes shifted slowly as he glanced over the valley with a quiet gaze.
And everything would change today.
"Everything will change.."
