~Venom~
Nares flared as she scented the other wanders in the glare, dark orbs flicking over the landscape. There was the scent of fresh grass as well, perfect for a hungry wander to graze. Swishing her tail as she lowered her crown to the green heaven below. Slowly she began to push around grasses with her lips to select the sweetest of the group. Moving from her spot slowly as she needed to get more to eat. Yes, she is in season but it was not certain he would go with the first stallion to find her. Venom began to muse over this while she ate, of what sort of stud would be right for her. Now that I think about this, I believe one who is strong, and perhaps a bit demanding, knows what he likes, can fight his own battlers and stand on his own... yes, I think that sort would be right... well protected, able to fend off challengers... hmm, wonder if I will find one.. Snorting suddenly as she jerked her head up, stamping the ground with her right fore, what was that? Believing she heard something she whinnied, asking if someone was there, asking for a reply. Shaking off the flies as she tossed her head, rearing up a little bit. Trying to get a higher view, her stature of fourteen two did not give her much at times. Rocking back she lunged into a rapid trot, seeking to find out what it was that she heard. Catching a scent as the cool wind shifted once more, allowing her to catch the scent once more. Dropping her hindquarters to bring herself to a stop, looking around again, there were a few here but they did not bother her. Lowing her head again as she began to graze, maybe it was nothing after all. Drawing her attention from this thing, this thing she had thought she felt watching... A cloud shifted, causing her to feel the warm sunshine on her glossy midnight pelt. Ah that feels much better

ooc;; I hope you don't mind, I had Akiro pop in. ♥ status;; COMPLETE --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---
He was not satisfied; he would never be satisfied. Not as long as he had what Akiro wanted. One day, he swears silently to himself, one day real soon.. He'll see. He growls, low and cold as his tones echoed through the vast oblivion that lay before him. Green eyes roll in annoyance as he stealthily presses on. He walked with a calm demeanor and a crooked smile; one look and you'd know something dangerous was lurking deep within the caverns of his mind. A silent snarl creeps across his face as ivories flash in the bright sunlight, his mood fouling by the minute.
A sudden call then brings the stallion back from his thoughts, just in time to catch sight of a black.... thing, moving his way. He stops and stares silently, watching as it further comes into view, and imagine Akiro's surprise when the 'thing' turned out to be a mare. His eyes went narrow and his vision focused on her and what appeared to be some sort of tantrum, a sigh softly escaping his velveteen lips. Though interaction with another had not been on his agenda for the day, it was too late now to turn and walk away. Not one for conversation, Akiro tends to remain quiet, but seeing as how she's heading for him and he's heading for her; they are bound to run into one another.
Once again moving forwards, Akiro sighs; there was no use in trying to avoid anything now, surely he had been seen. With a solemn sigh and a light step he moves closer to the now stopped mare. For a moment he contemplates just passing by, but something, and who in the hell knows what that something is, made him come to a stop not five feet from her. She was a little thing, that's for sure, and he silently laughed as he towered over her. Cold lifeless eyes glared down at her before smooth baritone chords are released. "Others might think you're crazy if you keep running from nothing." Talk about an awkward first impression...

(( Does not bother me, sorry beforehand if i get confusing... not my first language and all ))
Snorting lowly, the stallion before her was rather a good two hands taller. Either way she was very certain of herself and it showed in her proud bearing. Watching him walk up to her and stop not a mere five feet away. There was little about him that seemed to cause her concern, she took two steps closer to him, looking him over. Examining him as if she were unsure yet of how to think of him, whether he was strong, whether he was weak. Hearing what he said the mare made a rather adorable, almost laughing like sound. "I am not running, I simply have a great deal of energy at the time." This was the truth, she often had a great deal of energy to be spending and would take off cantering to some place she knew not a thing about. Her desire to take off might make others think of her as frightened, when it was far from the truth. "And you would be?" she asked, standing square now and looking up at him. For a second her eyes closed, relaxing in the wind that was brushing her pelt, the cool wind, she loved it so. Opening her eyes more to the mass before her, now that she got a good look at him.. she noted he seemed stout, had good bone, a slight dish, perhaps a crossbred. "Oh how rude, I am called, Racing Venom, you may call me Venom." Discovering that she might have come off as anything but kind had she not introduced herself. Manners are such a easy thing to be forgetting, but it mattered little in the cases she often found herself in. Stamping the ground suddenly, forcing a few flies to leave her alone if only for a passing minute. Now, she was debating on whether to stay and speak to the painted stud, or if it would be best to take her leave. Now if only I can decide if you are a silly colt or a true stallion, it is hard to say when I know so little about this one. He seems built well enough, perhaps not for the long hall like I am, long and lean... he is certainly not this, tall and stockily built perhaps. Going over these things in her mind, while the look in her eyes told she was debating something, but said she was no fool in matters like this. Many a stallion tried to claim the midnight mare, and many had failed, she would not stay long, nor would she breed with them. Speaking could wait for now, she must wait and see what his reply is. Tilting her crown to the sky, the sun would set in about three hours, the temperature would drop more. Well enough, the day was still light and she had time a plenty to figure this one out.

The way she eyed him made a small smile edge its way across Akiro's lips and as her laughter broke the silence it grew even more. am not running, I simply have a great deal of energy at the time. She says to him, but Akiro remains silent, only shrugging his shoulders in response. I could think of better ways to burn off that energy..... He thinks wickedly before her words once again reach his auds. And you would be? She questions him before closing her eyes; boy was her mind all over the place.
Oh how rude, I am called, Racing Venom, you may call me Venom. She says before giving the silent stallion a chance to answer, her feet stomping foolishly at the flies licking at them. As interesting as she was, Akiro felt the sudden desire to simply turn and walk away, yet his feet remain still as he feels compelled to at least answer her. "I am Akiro, Lord of The Sunken Temple." He replies finally after many moments of silence; he didn't know if she was finished speaking or not.
As promised to himself, his title of Gamma was with-held; just the very thought of it sent shivers down Akiro's spine. He hated the word, in every aspect, and he could not wait until the day that all would be changed, the day he would no longer carry that lowsome tag. Akiro moved off then, his silent musings capturing his attention more so than the mare. It was not that he wasn't interested in her, he wasn't interested in anyone really, but as a herd oriented creature, Akiro knew deep inside he could not live alone; not forever.

It was not often she lingered around her own kind, so she did not get the chance to speak much. Leading her to be chatty once in awhile, even to her it was honestly annoying, embarrassing in fact when her mind darted hither and tither. "Akiro" she said, quietly looking him over, this stalled her mind and she was grateful for the respite in her will to speak. Movement suddenly drew her attention to the fact he was leaving, rapidly moving forward and nipping him, "I was not done speaking to you, how well do you fight, I dislike weak stallions" she said, her words true to her name. For venom rapidly laced her words as her auds were pinned in a moments irritation at his attempt at leaving her. Where did he think his daggers would take him? Not away from her, certainly he knew better than this well, they did just meet so by chance he would not be aware of this knowledge. Making a arcing turn and coming back before him, halting, planting her daggers firmly in the ground, raising herself up to what her meager her height could obtain. "As I asked, how well do you fight? I despise a weak stallion that can not stand for himself, nor hold his own against, possibly, even a larger stud." Making it clear that she did not like one who could not fight, whether for what they believe in, or what they wish to have. If one was a stud, then one must be able to fight, to defend, to put down ones enemies. If one is a mare, they must be able to defend first and foremost, for the offspring of a strong stud must be cared for, must be taught. Fighting came next, she has fought for her life, but relies on agility more, for she is not bulky, but she is not weak. "Answer now... lord Akiro" whether to flatter him or to please him, she called him by a title that thought would not go bad. If he proved as strong as he appears, or can take control, then she would respect him, and perhaps for once in her life be willing to be claimed. If anything, he was not leaving, her eyes scanned over him, for any sign of movement to come. Looking into his eyes, her own showing she was not afraid, not even slightly put off by him. Letting out a slow breath, not tense nor flighty, she stood dead still, no, Venom would not back down. Around them the air felt stiff, as if it was waiting for what could happen next. Everything far and near appeared to be silent, her only focus was him, nothing else matter to the little mare.

The feel of teeth on his skin sends Akiro rigid; his anger now close to boiling point. I was not done speaking to you, how well do you fight, I dislike weak stallions. Her words tauntingly call at him and for a moment in time he truly contemplates turning and tearing her to shreds. Oh my, my, my. Venom.... What have you done? Ears are pinned as she rounds his front, his eyes digging into her like daggers. As I asked, how well do you fight? I despise a weak stallion that can not stand for himself, nor hold his own against, possibly, even a larger stud. Answer now... lord Akiro.
"Do you really want to see how well I fight?" His tones come low and cold; almost a growl as he watches her stand defiantly at his front. "Touch me one more time and I will rip you limb from limb." Akiro warns, his voice deep and commanding. If she really wanted to test him, this was certainly not the way to start it off; she would ultimately end up fighting for her very life. Though the stallion in front of her was soft spoken, she had sorely mistaken that as a sign he was weak; this he was certainly not. Akiro was strong, proud and one day the world would speak his name.
Rolling his shoulders, Akiro takes a step back, inhaling deeply in the attempts to calm his temper. He did not wish the creature released tonight, and so with a heavy sigh he once again locks it away. You want me to dominate you, little mare? I can you know... Akiro thinks silently to himself, his tongue now tracing along the outline of his lips. He moves then and comes to her side, his eyes focused on her tight flesh. He imagined the rivers of flowing crimson as it coursed it's way through her delicate frame, and he could not help himself; he had to taste it. One quick bite was all it took to send the warm fluid into his awaiting mouth; and he lavished in it.
He would not go home alone tonight.

Watching the body go rigid as she eyed him closely, seeing the dangerous look in his eyes, a flicker of interest burned into her own. Perhaps this stallion could be what she was looking for, needing after all. If one was weak willed she certainly would not stay around him for very long. Blowing air out of her nares, as if she approved of the strong, powerful way he looked now, the danger in his every fiber. Suddenly his voice spoke, she noted the ice that was pricking, the very growl of the tone as she was closely watched. Ah, yes this was a stallion worth having around, not weak a heart that much was certain now. "You very well could, strength is worth having, but speed, agility, these things are good as well, perhaps this I could give to you" came her calm voice, no fear in her, as she watched him. Venom approved of a stud's behavior for once, his anger clear, power he had without question, but he was wise, keeping it in. Over power him she certainly could not, more agile perhaps, travel farther faster, certainly she could. Holding her tongue as she just gazed at him, taking a step closer and lowering her head. Willingly seeming to wait for a action of his, she would accept if he would take the action first. "Now I am certain you have no weak heart, your tone says as much, your muscles look strong, so I am certain you have strength, wish to die? No, I do not, wish for a strong leader, a strong stallion, yes. The foals would be all the better." Explaining her intentions behind her actions a bit more now, but hushing after wards as she watched him move more along side her. Turning her head, pressing her muzzle lightly against his body, knowing she was not going to like the powerful bite she certainly would receive. Even so, she patiently awaited to see what he was going to do, her body relaxed in order to show acceptance of him. Venom found her mind wandering at this point, wandering to the future, wandering what the land he ruled over would look like. Certainly it would be interesting to explore the place, her daggers have never been to this place he spoke of. Ah, all the more eager she was to get moving, feeling the powerful bite, somehow, by some miracle she managed to not flinch. Letting out a deep breath she had not known she had held, pressing her body lightly against his own. Standing for a moment before turning her body around, keeping her head just behind his shoulders, a clear sign she would follow him. "Lead on..... my lord~" the ending notes of her voice seeming now to carry a note of respect, with approval of the title.

We can call this thread finished and say Akiro led the way home. ♥ I can start a thread in the herdlands for her if you want me to, or you are more than welcome to start one.
